IOP Publishing have been using Imagetwin since 2022 to help assess image validity in manuscripts. We use it across our journal portfolio, but it’s been especially useful on microscopy images and identifying duplication. Having the flexibility to check any manuscript at any stage has proved very useful, as it can be used at initial submission, revision, or post-publication. We’re also really proud to share our dataset of images with ImageTwin to help the tool find more duplications – we all benefit when we work together as a community.
